When my book The Year of Drinking Magic: Twelve Ceremonies with the Vine of Souls was published by Apocryphile Press of San Francisco and became available on Amazon, I realized I needed a website — and fast!

I registered the URL for HipGnosis.co with BlueHost and looked into building my own website with what were purported to be easy-to-use templates and drag-and-drop tools. I quickly realized the learning curve would be steep to build a “glitch-free” website but — more importantly — it dawned on me that after all the work I’d done writing an amazing book, it’d be a shame to create anything less than an equally awesome website to promote it!

So I put the word out among my friends and on social media, saying I needed a really gifted (I actually meant “genius”) artist and graphic designer to design a site for me; one that would intuitively brand my book and other media offerings, and convert casual interest into real sales and ongoing relationships with site visitors.

Seth Rowanwood (InkLight.com) was quickly recommended to me by a friend for whom he also built a beautiful website. Rowanwood created a terrific website for me for a price that was reasonable by industry standards, and included a lot of added value. Not only does the site work well, but Rowanwood intuited the true spirit of my project and translated that into a rich visual experience for my site visitors and customers.

Whether your project is simple or complex, I recommend Seth Rowanwood as an artist and website designer for anyone who wants a website that goes beyond ordinary expectations.
